LEXMARK INKJET NEWS

We are pleased to inform you, since two months ago, our Company Dama Service Srl innovated the technical processing of the various Lexmark inkjet refill.
As a matter of fact, the printing's quality remarkably improved.
Currently we subsitute the little sponge inside each cartridge and jointly we replace the clogged filter inside, so that improved the ink's fluidity.

By means of that up-to-dated processing, now the 'reject' percentage of Lexmark inkjet reaches absolute zero.
At the present we can boast we are the only one supplier able to provide customers (in Italy and also abroad in our foreign Markets) with the best quality of Lexmark cartridges.
Our product is right away similar to the O.E.M..

PRODUCTION CYCLE FOR PRINTER CARTRIDGE

For remanufacturing purposes by "printers" we mean all apparatus intended to produce writing on some support surface which may be paper (of various thicknesses and sizes) or other material; on single sheets, stickers, continuous sheets, posters, etc.

The equipment in question is therefore: all office printers (for correspondence), for general business transactions (invoicing, billing, accounting), for data processing centers (systems printers), technical offices (graphic design) faxes, photocopiers, cash registers, card and ticket punching machines, ticket and receipt machines for cash dispensers and motorway toll booths, football pools, lottery and bingo registry machines, plotters and many more.

  • Printers fall into three basic types depending on their characteristics and writing production:
  • impact printers (dot matrix type) for use with single sheets, with copies and continuous modules:
  • ink-jet printers for single sheets only:
  • laser printers, fax machines and photocopiers or toners for normal paper.

IMPACT PRINTERS

Our collaborators operate in the processing of cartridges for dot matrix printers that use a cartridge containing an inked nylon ribbon as support for printing. Remanufacturing entails replacing the used inked nylon ribbon with a new one that possesses the same characteristics as the original. In order to carry out this procedure a special ribbon changing machine is used that allows the worn ribbon to be removed and the new one to be inserted. After this substitution has taken place the two ends of the ribbon must be welded by means of the supplied welding machine. Once these two phases of the regeneration process are completed the cartridge must be cleaned and packaged by enclosing it in polyethylene and sealing it using the special thermal welder that is also supplied.

INK JET PRINTERS

The remanufacturing of ink-jet cartridges is carried out by "refilling" the cartridge after first cleaning it, paying particular attention to the printing head on the cartridge (in some cases the printhead is not to be found on the cartridge but directly on the printer itself).

A special machine is required for the cleaning of the printhead and further for refilling the cartridge. In-depth knowledge is essential of the different models and types of cartridges, and all the different ways to refill the cartridges (using a tank, a vacuum, with a sponge, through a hole, with a lid, etc. etc). Ink must also be readily available for the process of refilling. The ink must be of the same type and characteristics as the original (OEM) which therefore means that every type of cartridge requires a different type of ink.

After refilling the cartridge it must be tested in order to check that it is in perfect working order. Once this has been done the next step is the packaging.

LASER PRINTERS

In this case remanufacturing entails opening the cartridge, removing any remaining toner present, and cleaning the internal parts of any residue powder. The used parts must then be replaced as necessary (drum, cleaning wand, blades, etc.), then the cartridge can be refilled with new toner and finally be closed. As with ink-jet cartridges, the toner cartridges must be tested to check that they are in perfect working order.

The various models of toner cartridges contain toner powder in different quantities and of different qualities.

Furthermore dismantling and reassembly of the cartridges vary according to the different models involved.

For the remanufacturing of the toner cartridges a system of air suction and filtering must be used in order to prevent the toner powder from being scattered during the cleaning and refilling phases of the procedure.

The equipment supplied further includes a special exhaust fan (aspirator) for toner powder, an electric screwdriver, a welding machine, and specialized tools (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) for the dismantling of the cartridges. A full stock of the different types of toners, drums, cleaning wands, blades, etc., for all types of cartridges must be readily available. Once the operation of remanufacturing has been completed the cartridge is sealed in a special alluminium foil and light-protecting bag, then packaged in its labelled box.
